Step 1: Place Brick in a Container. Keep in mind that it can absorb up to 9x its weight in water and expand up to 5x its size. Use a container suitable for such expansion.

Step 2: Pour in Water. 5-6 gallons of water for a 10 lb brick. 3-4 quarts for a 1.5 lb brick. Cover the container, if possible, to retain moisture and wait 30-45min.

Step 3: Break Brick Apart. Break brick apart and expose any dry particles. Wait an extra 30-45min.

Step 4: Apply. Simply add to soil or use directly for see germination. When starting a new pot, use a 1:4 Coco to Soil ratio.
